gay love

Last night we had a potluck at the house and the topic was fair trade. Apart from the very interesting speaker that we had, we also had an interesting couple. Danna, a former intern at the house came with her fiancee. She spotted a huge stone on her finger and so did the fiancee. The fiancee has short cropped hair, a beautiful smile and a bit on the heavy side. Yes, she is gay. As she introduced me to the love of her life, you could see it all in her eyes. She had finally found love. The look they shared was one of utter and profound love. Danna went ahead and introduced her to the 30 people in the room, note: the audience consisted of the older generation, I was among the youngest in the room. It got me wondering, why is gay love looked down on? Danna and her girlfriend were so totally in love and happy. Why cant two species of the same sex not love each other like man and woman? I almost felt envious of this love that Danna has. And the policy, if it makes you happy do it, came to mind and thats how am gonna live my life. If it makes me happy why not. Am as straight as they come, in case you are wondering!

male species

What happens when you hang out with three men who all want you at the same time? If one of them is white, it becomes worse. Whitey decides he cant play the game anymore, so he throws in the towel. Darkies being dark, have to see who is the man. So what to do on the dance floor, who do you dance with, who do you not? Play smart. Mara dances with both of them, using the same moves on both of them and it frustrates them even worse when they realize, no one is getting any unique dance moves. One of them is particularly irked so much that he suggests that we call it a night.
Suffice to say, Mara's head got bigger and the male species went home regretting why a female had to make them look at each other and wish he could be found in the wee hours of the morning hanging on a tree.

Strength of a woman!
